As well as the walk in Somerset others walked in Germany, Scotland, Italy and Canada.

The drop down menus here offer some of their thoughts and experiences and words of support from the Association of Jewish Refugees

In addition to that, the walk in Somerset generated and engaged many other resonances, from the story of Frome human rights activist Alice Seeley Harris to the discovery of the paupers burial site on the edge of Bath.

The project also reaches out to artists in the Syrian diaspora and in the songs and presence of Paul Robeson is mindful of the continuing cost and pain of exile.
